Marriage Matters Ministry:
An exciting new ministry, led by Terry and Debi Flippin, coming to Life Impact Church by May 2014.

It is the vision of the Marriage Matters Ministry to help couples thrive in their marriage by providing empowering educational tools to nourish and cherish each other in a healthy marriage relationship. This ministry will, not only play a pivotal role in building successful marriages, but it will also impact children, families, the church, the community and ultimately, the world. 

The Marriage Matter Ministry is comprised of:  Marriage Enrichment, Marriage Restoration, Pre-marital Training, and eventually Marriage Mentoring.

  • Marriage Enrichment:  
Every marriage needs help from time to time in navigating the complex issues of life and family. Throughout the year, Marriage Matters Ministry will offer specific short-term classes and events designed to help couples address life's challenges with hope and encouragement, from a biblical perspective.

Meetings occur monthly on a Friday evening.  A marriage teaching will occur after a meal.  Participating couples are asked to bring a covered dish and 2 liter drink. 

  • Marriage Restoration:
An eight-week workshop designed for couples whose marriage is broken or in significant distress due to long-term emotional dis-connects, infidelity, abuse, and/or broken trust.  We believe God can redeem a couple’s pain and transform their marriage, through this workshop. Registration would be required when offered.

  • Pre-marital Training:
For couples considering marriage. Engaged couples are paired with trained Mentor Couples who will walk them through pre-marital training and mentor them for 6-12 months. This is in place to help engaged or newlywed couple navigate the importance of a Godly relationship, work though their baggage and gain tools to prevent a divorce.

  • Marriage Mentoring:
It is the future vision of the Marriage Matters Ministry to provide mentor training to individuals who are passionate about enriching and restoring marriages.  More information about mentor training to come.



About Terry & Debi Flippin: 
Terry and/or Debi have been trained in “Soul Healing Love," “Love & Respect," “Hiding from Love," “Marriage Mentoring & Restoration," “Focus," "Prepare & Enrich” and “Financial Peace.”  They have served in Marriage Ministry for 12 years.

Terry and Debi are high school sweethearts and met in the 8th grade.  They have been married for 37 years as of May 28th.  They have five children and four grandchildren.
